1. INFORMATION FOR DATA SUBJECTS
Who is responsible for processing your data of a personal nature?
Club Nàutic Sant Antoni, as the DATA CONTROLLER responsible for processing your personal data, hereby informs you (the DATA SUBJECT) that these data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD).
Why do we process your personal data?
To maintain a business relationship with the data subject. We process your data for the following reasons.
- To send you commercial advertising notices by email, fax, SMS, MMS, social media, or any other electronic or physical means, present or future, that enable commercial notifications. Such notifications will be made by the DATA CONTROLLER and will be related to our products and services or those of our collaborators or suppliers with whom it has reached a promotional agreement. These transactions will never entail disclosure of your data of a personal nature to third parties.
- To conduct market research and statistical analysis.
- To process orders and requests, respond to queries or to any kind of enquiry that the DATA SUBJECT may make through the contact forms available on the DATA CONTROLLER’s website.
- To send you our online newsletter with news, offers and promotions related to our business.
On what legal basis can we process your personal data?
Section 6 of the GDPR permits the following reasons for such processing.
- With the DATA SUBJECT’s consent: sending commercial notifications and our newsletter.
- In the DATA CONTROLLER’s legitimate interest: to conduct market research, statistical analysis, etc. and to process orders, requests, etc. at the DATA SUBJECT’s request.
How long will we keep your personal data?
We will only keep them for the time required to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected or for as long as there is a legal requirement to do so. Once these circumstances no longer exist, your data will be deleted with the appropriate security measures to ensure their anonymisation or complete destruction.
To whom do we disclose your personal data?
We will not disclose or assign your personal data to any third party whatsoever except for our communications-related suppliers indispensable to execution of the purposes of the processing, with which the DATA CONTROLLER has entered into the confidentiality and data processing contracts required by the currently-applicable privacy legislation.
What are your rights?
As a DATA SUBJECT you have the following rights:
- the right to withdraw your consent to processing at any time;
- the rights of access, rectification, portability, deletion and opposition to or limitation of processing;
- the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you consider that our processing of your data infringes the currently-applicable regulations.

2. REQUIRED OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY DATA SUBJECTS
By checking the respective boxes and/or entering data into the fields marked with an asterisk (*) on the contact form or on downloadable forms, the DATA SUBJECT expressly, freely and unequivocally agrees that their data are indispensable for the provider to process their request. Entering data into the remaining fields is optional. The DATA SUBJECT hereby guarantees that the personal data provided to the DATA CONTROLLER is true and accurate. The former is also responsible for notifying the latter of any changes to said data.
You are hereby informed that all data requested on the website is required since it is necessary to provide an optimal service to the DATA SUBJECT. If you fail to provide all the requested data, we cannot guarantee that the information and services we provide will be suitable for your needs.
3. SECURITY MEASURES
In accordance with the currently applicable regulations on the protection of data of a personal nature, the DATA CONTROLLER complies with all the provisions of the GDPR and the LOPDGDD when processing the personal data for which we are responsible, especially with reference to Section 5 of the GDPR that stipulates that such data shall be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject and collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes.
The DATA CONTROLLER guarantees that adequate technical and organisational measures have been implemented to ensure that the processing is compliant with the GDPR and the LOPDGDD in order to protect the DATA SUBJECTS’ rights and freedoms, and has provided suitable information to enable the latter to exercise them.
