In 1995, Club Nàutic Sant Antoni set up what was to become an iconic educational project, namely, the Setmana del Mar.
This initiative arose as a way for new generations to learn about the sea, and thousands of fifth year primary school children from all over the island have spent a week at our facility, sailing, learning how marine ecosystems work, and enjoying activities and workshops thanks to the efforts of an extensive team of educators, monitors and experts.
CNSA dedicates a significant amount of resources to this project which has grown over time, and which now extends to groups of students with special needs, and it has also led to other projects concerned with educating young people about the sea, understanding it and assimilating the need to conserve and protect it.
