Es Portitxol

Further to the north of Cala d’Albarca you come to es Portitxol, an isolated rocky beach far from the typical tourist haunts, but which however boasts an important natural harbour circled by about thirty fishermen’s huts. It can only be accessed on foot from the land side, although some daring locals make the trip by motorcycle. The bay is closed off and protected, with crystalline waters and darker depths in the shade of the imposing headland of Rubió.
