Benirràs

Benirrás is one of the most famous beaches in Ibiza, renowned for its sunsets over Cap Bernat, a massive headland 27 metres high set in the middle of the bay. For many years, every Sunday in summer the sun goes down to the beat of drums, a phenomenon that draws a huge crowd to the point where traffic restrictions have had to be imposed.

The seashore has a long stretch of beach with gravel and a shingle in the interior. There are a number of restaurants on the beach, some serving traditional seafood along with other services. At both ends of the strand there are boathouses that provide storage and shelter for fishing boats and pleasure craft.
