S’Arenal

This is the main beach of the Portmany Bay, in the deepest area between sa Punta des Molí and Sant Antoni’s town centre. Several streams open out into the sea and the seafront promenade runs parallel to the beach, and so hotel guests frequently bathe there along with the locals strolling by or practising sports. It is considered to be an urban beach and has services of every kind.

The seafront promenade is lined with many bars and restaurants which are busy and lively all day in summer and well into the night. The northern end connects with the port area where the ferries depart to the various beaches of the bay.
