The 29er class has existed since the late nineteen nineties and it is one of the most popular competitions. These skiffs participate in regattas with two sailors.
The 29er class has passed into the Club’s history as one of its great successes, having provided endless enjoyment and satisfaction, and in which three generations of yachtsmen and women have trained. A failure to promote this category in the Balearic Islands has led to its being largely discontinued. We first participated in this sailing category in 2009, thanks to the impetus of Joao Pizzuto and Oriol Valdés, two yachtsmen who have meant a lot to the organisation, an activity which continued until 2023. During this period, two trophies and a Spanish championship were organised, as well as several Balearic Island championships. For many years the CNSA was the only fleet in the autonomous community.
