Cala d’Hort

This is one of the most impressive beaches in Ibiza, set at the foot of the cliffs and renowned for the imposing presence of the islets of es Vedrà and es Vedranell which rise out of the water mid-horizon. The shore alternates white sand and sections of shingle, and on its western side, some thirty boathouses are aligned to house the llaüts –local boats.

There are also three traditional restaurants serving seafood dishes and fish and rice. At dusk, hundreds of people gather on the surrounding cliffs to watch the sun go down behind the islands.
